Tutpiches workshops led by the artist Giovanni Ortega Flores - All public.
Tutupiche's name comes from his grandmother, who used to call "tutupiche" any cutaneous and bodily appearance of a strange, undesirable nature, and whose name and identity were unknown.

Tutupiche is a technique, is a universe, is a game, which starts from the most complex form of nature: the spiral. From this form, all other forms of nature are possible. Tutupiche is a universe that rolls from the serpentine, raw material, which unrolls to roll up. It gives birth to cones, spheres, shapes, wings, arms, characters, then, by dint of the centrifugation of this universe, the tutupiches come to life. This completely new technique of serpentine sculpture was created in Mexico, more precisely in Yucatán, as the result of a long battle against boredom.
