St-Genou lake

Large pond of 30 Ha, rich in carp, zander, roach located between the gates of St-Genou, near the Indre, on the D63.
Accessible only with the “river” fishing card at no extra charge, this old quarry with turquoise blue waters delights all the fishermen who discover it.

An elongated body of water, it allows everyone to sit quietly, close to their car, to tease white fish, carp or predatory fish (zander, pike, perch).
Every month (except summer), one weekend is open to night carp (by reservation) and another weekend allows float-tube discovery.

In summer, the site offers a beautiful supervised beach and games for children, as well as a bar.

The St-Genou body of water follows the opening periods for river fishing: it is therefore open all year round for coarse fishing, or carp fishing, and it is closed for predatory fishing from the end of January to end of April (see the exact dates on the annual river fishing calendars, on our Fishing Guide or on our website).
