Montgivray is a developing city that does not lose its rural character; while walking towards the edges of the Indre, one meets old mills (of Fontpisse, ribattes); near the washhouse, opposite the castle, the old Roman bridge spans the Indre.

Pretty little place on the edge of the river with an old mill at the end of the road with a table and garbage cans. Access: take rue des Buissons then turn left just before the rue des Chenevières cemetery. At the end of the road, take the passage to the right of the mill to access the picnic area on foot (approximately 50 m).
